how do i request a spec ific type of car from lyft

While using the Lyft app to request a ride, you initially have the option to choose your desired car type by tapping the various available options - such as Lyft, Lyft XL, Lux, Black, and Black XL. Each represents a different level of service that includes specific types of cars - for example, Lux offers high-end, luxury sedans. Please note that availability of each type might vary depending on your location and the number of drivers in that area at the requested time. In terms of selecting a very specific model or make of a car, Lyft does not currently offer this option. The vehicle you ride in is determined by which nearby drivers accept your ride request.

I was charged $40.93 for a lift ride I never made

We're sorry to hear you've been erroneously billed for a Lyft ride you didn't request. Head directly to your Lyft app, go to 'Ride History' to find the specific ride and tap 'Find Lost Item' then 'Contact Driver'. If you can't reach the driver, tap 'I lost an item', then 'Contact Support' to report the issue. Lyft takes such incidents very seriously and the support team will help resolve the concern.

Why have I not gotten paid yet from two weeks ago?

We're sorry to hear about this issue. Lyft typically sends payments out immediately after you’ve ended a ride, and it should arrive in your bank account within 1-3 business days. Factors such as public holidays, bank processing times, and the type of bank you use may affect this timeline. If your expected payment has not arrived in your bank account after 3-5 business days, we recommend checking with your bank for any potential issues, as they might be holding up the deposit. If your bank has no information about the delay, then you can use the contact link on this page to get in touch with Lyft's driver support.

Can I schedule a lyft ride from Carson City to Reno Airport a day or 2 in advance?

Yes, you can schedule a Lyft ride in advance. To do so, open the Lyft app, enter your destination, then tap 'Schedule.' Choose the date and time of your pickup (which can be up to 7 days in advance), and confirm your pickup and drop-off location. Make sure to select a scheduled pickup time that allows enough time to get to your destination, such as the Reno Airport. Please note that all rides are subject to the availability of drivers in your area at the time of your scheduled pickup.
